Mane6 was the development team behind Them's Fightin' Herds. Originally, the team was in charge of Fighting is Magic, but the project recieved Cease & Desist notice from Hasbro for infringing upon their intellectual property rights. As the project was shut down, several members of original Mane6 left the team. The rest of the crew, including Lauren Faust who offered her help to create new characters and settings, would form a new team to start work on Them's Fightin' Herds.
